image 1We are a friendly diverse club that provides opportunities for both male and female players of all ages to enjoy Dodgeball. Founded in 2013, the Manchester Bees are growing rapidly along with the sport itself, with over 40 members and even more participants. The sport has been introduced to the majority of schools; over 250,000 people are playing the sport across the UK and we have high hopes for Dodgeball progressing even more.

The first ever Dodgeball World Cup took place in April 2016 at our hometown, Manchester. During this, we continued to build relationships with Dodgeball teams worldwide and are now one of the most well known clubs in the world. We have a large reach via social media (10,000+ weekly) and have great partnerships with teams from all over the world.

We have also made numerous appearances on national television – our latest being on BBC Breakfast in August 2016, representing the sport and discussing how we aim to be partaking in the Olympics. Take a look at our national and local media coverage.

Supported Charities

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust were thrilled at the prospect of working with Manchester Bees. They said, “As the Bumblebee Conservation Trust we are delighted that the Manchester Bees have ‘adopted’ us as one of their charities and we are really happy to have their support. The Manchester Bees certainly look very ‘bee-friendly’ in their yellow and black kit!”

The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres and is based in Manchester. Christies said, “It’s brilliant that the Manchester Bees are fundraising for us by holding a 24 hour Dodgeball event. We’d like to thank the Bees again for offering their support towards our charity, it sounds like a great club.”
